Of Things Above will be singing at the Celebration of Missions Event at Quiet Dell UM Church at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 27th. Come on out & enjoy the event.

These fine folks gathered on Sunday, April 7 to empty the church basement of scooters, bicycles & bike parts. Everything was carried outside the church and offered to the public. By Monday morning, only a few bikes were left. Thanks to their work the basement is ready for improvements & many kids are enjoying the outdoors.

A huge thank you to everyone that donated coins & currency to our “Milk Madness” fundraiser. We raised an amazing $290.00 that will go toward the Stealey Duff Street food pantry!!! So many families will have fresh milk to serve to their families. We are so grateful for your generosity!

Post from a church member. This blessed my heart & asked to share it. Enjoy & be blessed. 🎚 I went with Michael this evening to visit a 101 year old. I hadn’t been in a hospital to visit someone since mom passed away, but I felt like I needed to go. The first thing she did was ask me how school was and when I was done. She laughed, told stories, and told me that every woman needs an education. I couldn’t help but smile and her spirit brought me tears of joy. She was so appreciative of us coming to spend the evening with her. That’s sometimes that’s all we need—someone to take the time to care. I learned a good lesson tonight—even at 101 years old, someone can still make a difference ❤️
